In 2012, Proactiv launched they're newest product: Proactiv+. At Eleven Inc., I was asked to redesign the packaging for this product. Of course, the package had to be a direct mailable piece as well as house and protect the new product. I paired small and large graphic elements with a large, bold DIN typeface to create this modern, clean and simple design.

Every year AAA Insurance has a fall campaign that encourages new members to sign by promoting the All American Roadtrip. My partner and I were asked to create a campaign in 2012. The print ad, posters, etc shown here are the result.

VIRGIN AMERICAN CREDIT CARD
In 2013, I was asked to redesign the Virgin America Credit Card. The end result is a sleek and simple credit card that also incorporates social media. An Instagram "window" was added to the top left of each card. This window allows the owner to take photos with an iPhone using the #vxfly filter. The card is made of tinted plastics, sleek matte top coat, and a myriad of other materials previously unknown to the credit card world.

Juicero hopes to do for the home-juice market what Keurig did for coffee—it will deliver superior juice from pouches of fresh-picked produce. It was important to tell the unique journey of the vegetables to the Juicero owner in our design. I developed a series of patterns to help communicate the process from farm, to pouch, to glass. A fresh, bright color palette paired with clean and bold typography speak to all juice lovers and create a solid platform for this up and coming brand.

Pixo is the digital picture frame of the future. It was crucial that the design remain clean and neutral in order to work with any variety of photography. The wordmark is simple and modern, the nick in the capital P a hint at the interchangeable outlet corner on the device.

To celebrate the unveiling of Sodastream MIX, the Alchemy Lounge was concieved – a pop-up mixology bar right in the heart of Teatro Versace during Salone del Mobile, the annual design show in Milan. My design was inspired by the geometric diamond-like structure and environment. We created large environmental decals with intricate line work, mirroring the futuristic spacecraft-like bar. All graphics were kept bold, simple, and black and white with copper accents. This created a one of a kind bar, cognizant of a scientist's laboratory.

I was asked to develop a series of accents for a conference revolved around the phenomenon of speaking with the dead using a device called the Spiricom. I took inspiration from many of the visual spirits collected from actual ITC readings. I was also interested in the machines of the devices that collected this data. I paired erie, digitalized photos captured by ITC technology with bright, eye-catching colors and cool grays. I also used a mix of digitally inspired typography and classic italics.
I was asked to design a packaging system for pet products that was unlike anything else on the market. The brand was specifically for the dachshund. The typography is bold and classic, suggesting a sense of luxury and taste, even in a dog food. I paired the strong type with delicate handcrafted graphic patterns, all printed on a recycled stock. Ultimately, the design will not only appeal to dachshund owners but all dog lovers.
NANCY'S BOUTIQUE YOGURT
For this version of Nancy's yogurt I was asked to take the grocery store brand chosen in the previous project and develop a high end, fine foods version of the packaging. For Nancy's high end line of dairy delicacy I kept the same word in mind: simplicity. I pulled aspects of the previous packaging into this re-redesign. For example, the bold color coding and script type. However, for this line, structure was key. I elevated the product by introducing a glassware container and intricate shield like rubdowns.
Upwave was an attempt by Turner Broadcasting to create a health network that was dedicated to keeping it's watchers on the up. The concept was a motivational lifestyle channel that promoted eating healthy and living an active healthy lifestyle. Shown are a series of print and digital peices we hoped would have helped promote and interact with the network.

Rivella is a soft drink from Switzerland, created in 1952, which is produced from milk whey. Rivella is a nationally loved and cherished brand, so it was very important to keep it's special heritage in tact. The brand’s design language has always been inviting, bold, friendly, and wholesome. With bold, iconic typography and large fields of Rivella's classic red we were able to achieve a modern brand evolution, versus an entire brand revolution.

When Proactiv+ launched it's new product a fresh out of home campaign was needed to introduce it. Shown here are the concepts of a colorful, clean design that showcase beautiful skin on woman, not teenagers. The secondary colors, yellow and pink, offset the new Proactiv+ blue.
The task was to chose a middle of the road grocery store brand and develop new packaging with a unique and updated look and feel. It was important that the design stand out against the sea of competitors found in every dairy section. I wanted to elevate the brand, but not completely lose all equity of the previously existing product. I decided to keep the hand drawn, script look of the logo, but redrew it in order to achieve a more attractive and fluid look.
When I was first hired at Eleven Inc. in 2011, I worked closely with my CD and ACD to rebrand the entire Union Bank brand. Eventually, we landed on a clean and bold design that stood out amongst it's competitors. Union Bank OOH ads can be seen all over the west coast and downtown San Francisco.

I was asked to design for a typography conference with a very experimental and modern approach. The "RE" conference evolved into an urban playground of design and culture: the attendees were instructed to use recycled, reused, and rethought type found on the streets of New York City.

The Lady Gaga 2012 Tour book had to go beyond the norm. It was extremely important to reflect the style of the artist with the design. For this specific project it was important to capture Lady Gaga's sense of uniqueness and unconventional ideas in my design. I used symbols, textures, and aesthetics believed to best represent Lady Gaga and the captivating music she makes. I created collages using literal imagery from the lyrics of her songs. However, also managed to develop an amalgam of her overall attitutde and style with in the piece using typography color, and photography.
